Nurse's Overview at Zamora Middle School

The school nurse serves the school community by providing medical assistance and support for all members of the community.  Besides medical assistance, the nurse also provides a medical screen to make sure that each student is healthy, all student's medical health is provided for, and that they are protected from harmful infectious diseases.

Schools, like hospitals, can be sites of infectious disease.  The nurse serves to train staff on how to handle minor emergencies and how to adjust to changing circumstances and new medical developments for students.
